# Game Doesn’t Start: Missing Executable File: Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Error Fix:

First of all, make sure that your Anti-virus is not the problem. Just white list the game after installation. However, if anti-virus is not the problem, then we recommend you to verify the integrity of Game cache files so as to restore the missing files.

    About 5-10 minutes into the game the screen goes black but the music keeps playing. After a while the PC just goes out cold. Updated drivers for my Nvidia GTX 970 but still happening. What a bummer. Really wanna play 🙁
