How to Fix Errors, Crashes and Bugs in Wolfenstein: The Old Blood ?
#1: Bad Framerate and Low FPS :
People who are having very good GPU’s are also seem to be facing this issue. If your GPU is above the requirement and still you are facing bad framerate issues, then the issue might be due to outdated GPU drivers. So, the first thing you’re gonna do is updating the Drivers . To update the drivers, you can use Driver Scanner which can update drivers for you quickly and by one click. Simply download it from here and perform a complete system scan with it. After that, you will be prompted to update the outdated drivers from the results. SIMPLE, isn’t it ?
#2: I cannot save the advanced settings :
Generally, Apply button can be found under the settings menu. However, the developers of this game have placed it at an unexpected place. Clear surveying of the menu screen will help you in finding the apply button from where you can save the advanced settings.
#3: Game crashes on Startup :
If you have downloaded the preload, then you might sometimes miss the important files. Verifying the integrity of Game cache files will help you in restoring the missed files. Sometimes, restarting the game also will fix this error. If they both didn’t help, then try to update the drivers and re-install the game.
#4: Wolfenstein Error: Missing executable :
In the system requirements, you can clearly see that this game supports 64 Bit operating system only. So, if you are using a 32 bit version, there might be a possibility of this error. The only solution would be installing new 64 Bit operating system.
#5: Textures are missing :
If you are using Swift shader, then immediately stop using it. It removes the textures of the game inorder to increase your FPS. As an alternate workaround,
- Go to Nvidia control panel.
- Now, turn of Triple buffering and adjust the V-sync settings.
#6: Dll Error on the startup :
We have universal solution for all the Dll file errors. Generally, re-installing the Dll File source will always fix the problem. But, it is not always an easy task to find out the source of that Dll error. There is one software that can do it for you. It is the Dll-Files fixer. All you need to do is just follow the simple steps listed below and you’ll end up solving the error.
- First of all, download Dll-Files fixer from here.
- Now, you can perform a system scan for fixing registry errors (This is optional. Fixing registry errors can really help you at times)
- Open “Install DLL files” tab.
- Now, input the name of dll file in the search tab. The fixer will automatically install the file in required location and you can get back to enjoy the game.
You can watch this GIF for more info. I had that file already installed. I have just recorded it for helping you.
#7: Random Crashes :
First of all, make sure that your drivers are up to date. If the problem persists even after updating the drivers, try changing the compatibility mode to Windows 7. If that didn’t help , try to disable SLI/ Crossfire.
